OH, Forks!™ October 2016 Updates

 

Hey everyone! As always, thanks for checking in, and for the continued support as I step through the many levels of growing a food oriented business! Some of you are still awaiting your sample orders, and I apologize for the wait! They are still coming, and will be with you before the event ends! I ran into some trouble mailing to Canada, so I’ll be attempting that again soon, too. Things have been hectic and busy between the kids, life, school, and my crazy medical woes. I appreciate all of your patience, and hope that everyone who has gotten their samples has enjoyed them so far! I’ll be sending the link to those who have received samples and mixes to the review form I’ll need filled out, too! (That was the only stipulation for those receiving our free samples! A review!)

But WHOA! What a sampling event this has turned out to be! Multiple countries, dozens of states and TONS of new cities around Indiana! The event will continue through mid-November and my last big event for the year at the Allen County Public Library on the 12th. We’re planning to have some #SociallyFrozen samples, and some other random gluten free goodness, with a few cookbook giveaways, too! There will be an event link on our Facebook page soon if you’d like more details! I’m so happy and proud that the #OHFORKS brand name is making its way around the world, and people in other states are saying things like, “Oh! I’ve heard of this! The cook book is on my buy list!” Those words just melt this entrepreneur’s heart!

So, what else is coming up? Well, I’m graduating in December with honors for my Business Management and Entrepreneurial Specialist degree. I’m also preparing to write a few novels for the yearly NaNoWriMo competition that runs from November 1 to the 30th. I’ve got a TON of recipe creation planned for the winter, and a new cook book release planned for 2017! I’m also working on a new service I’d like to offer to the ill, hospitalized, on maternity leave, or seniors….so watch for bits and pieces on that to roll through the social media pages soon. On top of those things, I’m still hoping to enter Fort Wayne’s local farmer’s markets in 2017 as well!

OH, the RECIPES!! Look for a flood of them to hit the blog once I’ve graduated and have time to upload them all, instead of writing fifty-page financial analysis papers! I’m talking everything from breads, apps, dinners, lunches and desserts! And all FREE!!!!
