Another perfect twist on this classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich! This combines the heat and crunch from a jalapeno popper, with the creamy, filling warmth of your standard grilled cheese! Using gluten free bread keeps this triggering a flare!


Ingredients

  • 2 Slices
    Gluten Free Bread, white works well
  • 2 Teaspoons
    butter or ghee
  • 2 Teaspoons
    Gluten Free Cream Cheese
  • large, fresh jalapeno; deseeded and cut in half into two pieces
  • 4 Slices
    Bacon, cooked
  • 1 Slice
    Natural Cheddar Cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Butter the outsides of your bread of choice. Spread cream cheese on the inside, and stack with bacon, slice of cheddar, and halves of jalapeno. Prepare as you would your "normal" grilled cheese, browning both sides in your skillet until it is done.

    Top with guacamole, or devour as is! Enjoy!
