OH, Forks!™ Winter 2019 Updates & Reclaiming Intimacy Through H.O.P.E.

Hi Everyone! I thought it might be time to give an official update on the why’s behind my extremely busy schedule these past few months! I appreciate those who have continued to support me while I make these decisions, changes, and advancements in my life and career!

First, the main question I get from those who have known what’s been going on: “Is Oh, Forks!™ going away?!” (often asked in a panicked, sadness filled voice) Hell no, people! Hell-to-the-NO! Next year still includes markets, events, and the online bakery isn’t going anywhere! OH, Forks!™ will always be here- growing and changing to fit the needs of our customers. We’ll just be doing it a bit more limited over the next few months while I acclimate to my life’s current situations, my main job, and medical issues. For me, the cold months are always a time to slow down and adjust. Yes, my holiday ordering events are still open BUT are almost FULL! So, don’t wait if you need your fix of gluten free goods from now until New Years!

Time for the details!

Over the past six years of working an as adult sexual education teacher and sexual wellness specialist with Boudoir Noir to bridge the gap and ease the taboo nature of sex education (I’ve actually worked for BN for over 14 years! Surprise!), we have created an entirely new company, Reclaiming Intimacy Through H.O.P.E.! In it’s first years of creation, we worked with local cancer organizations and brought intimacy and sexual wellness presentations, information and therapeutic devices to our area. The lack of information and resources to cancer patients and those suffering from long-term illnesses was evident, and we knew we needed to take BIG steps. So, we did! Now, as we prepare to open our offices and spread our mission and services nation-wide, I am stepping in to fill a huge role in sexual wellness education in this area, and the world as the Director of Educational Services & Lead Educator! Some may know I hold degrees in education and business, and now I’m also working towards certification for this important passion of mine, as well!

I’d invite any of you to check out our website and Facebook pages! If you’re local to Fort Wayne, please share this information with ANYONE you know who has had or fought against cancer, their family members, and anyone you know who has chronic illness or autoimmune issues! We’ve got loads of resources, a free resource library, videos, educational courses, specialized therapeutic aids and SO much more! Plus, our team is amazing & we will be a vital resource to your cancer journey!

And let’s be honest- healthy eating and avoiding gluten is sort of vital for ensuring your body is healthy and ready for medical treatments! It’s ALL connected, folks! 🙂

As always, I am happy to discuss anything gluten or diet related, and I’m also happy to talk sexual wellness and strategies with you if you’re facing down the likes of cancer or illness, and all of the side effects that appear in your life! Wishing you ALL the BEST this Thanksgiving & Holiday season!!

We are so THANKFUL for your support!
