Our OH, Forks!™ Chocolate Cake mix is very versatile, so much so that you can make a 9×13 pan of brownies out of our mix, too! This is one of our first brownie recipes!

Note: It was difficult to find our recipes for these brownies, as they were buried in heaps of blog posts, so we’ve moved them to our recipe section for ease! (Sorry about that!) This recipe creates a more “fudge-y” brownie.

Ingredients

  • 1
bag of OH, Forks!™ Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 Cup
unsalted butter (or ghee) or coconut oil, melted and cooled a bit
  • 5*
Large Organic Egg OR Egg Substitute
  • 2 Tablespoons
    vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup
Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Simple Directions:

Mix all ingredients, minus chocolate chips, together in stand mixer, or bowl until all well combined.

Pour into greased or parchment paper lined 9x13 baking pan evenly, and top with chocolate chips.

Bake in oven preheated to 375 degrees* for 45 to 55 minutes, depending on your oven. Allow to cool completely before cutting.

*Oven temperatures vary! With gluten free baking, you must pay close attention until you and your oven are like BFFs! If you need to go cooler, try 340 for an hour.

*If using egg replacement, know that those are ALL very different! We have successfully used Bob's Red Mill Egg Replacer in this recipe, while flaxseed gave it a strange texture.
*The thickness of the brownies will depend on which "egg" you use.
*If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!

Try different add-ins! Your favorite gluten free candies, nuts, or toppings!
