When I hear “Chicken Divan,” I instantly think of my Grandma, Barbara Jean. (AKA. GG) She loved this recipe, even more so that it worked for both of our diets. She had diabetes, and we avoided gluten (and now dairy) at the time. Another way the great grandkids made memories with her, and got to have a taste of our shared recipe creations!
So many things are “cajun” in our house! This recipe was one of our firsts when going “gluten free!” You can easily “edit” it to include other veggies, and add more (or less) spice to your liking!
If you like salmon, this vanilla sauce is amazing! Paired with the right sides, this dish looks professional and like it came from a high-end restaurant! (Pictured: Salmon with Vanilla Sauce, and a dill sprig…because I ran out of parsley.)
Pasta Primaveras main focus is asparagus! It’s delicious, and a quick dinner when you’re out of ideas, and all the veggies are still sitting on the counter, or in the drawer…waiting for you to make your move! Try this yummy dish tonight!
This is party-perfect pasta salad! It can withstand the hot heat of summer, is eye-achingly bright and pretty to look at, AND it’s pretty healthy! Did you know allowing children to help with the preparation and making process of the foods they eat entices them to try more things, and be open to healthier food items??
This light salad is surprisingly crunchy and nutty, with a tantalizing flavor!
In our house, chicken salad is a must-have at least a few times a month. While certain store brands are delicious, they also contain preservatives and unnecessary ingredients! Over the years, we’ve released a few chicken salad sandwich spread recipes, but this is more of a “stand alone” chicken salad, in that, it can be eaten as an entire meal itself! Lots of protein, veggies, and fruits make this a well rounded meal & one that avoids gluten and grain!
This recipe is very basic and simple, but gives another idea of a simple gluten free lunch idea for gluten free kiddos! This was one of our middle daughter’s favorites, and she didn’t even need to be gluten free! This wrap also makes a great “Make-Your-Own” bar for cookouts!
In our house, pasta is a regularity! And when you’re diagnosed with Celiac disease, it’s one of the first things to go! That is, until I crafted our favorite gluten free pasta dough! OH, Forks!™ offers a few styles of pasta dough in our cook books if you like the very clean, no preservatives or extras variety. However, life is busy, and thankfully there are numerous gluten free brands of pasta available on many major grocers’ shelves! Enjoy this change up to your normal Italian feast! This one’s a little spicy!
