Hot Iced Tea has always been one of my favorite adult beverages. It’s quick to warm up your insides, and depending on potency, can be equally as fast to knock you back down. Wink.

Ingredients

  • 4
    Orange Flavored Tea Bags
  • 3 Cups
    boiling water
  • 5 to 6 Cups
    Ice
  • 1/2 Cup
    organic honey
  • 1
    Lemon, juiced
  • 1
    Orange, juiced
  • 1
    Cinnamon Stick
  • 10
    Cloves, whole
  • 8 to 10
    Shots of Rum or Vodka
  • 1
    Lemon, wedged, for garnish

Instructions

  1. *Place tea bags into bowl or large measuring cup. Add 3 cups boiling water, and allow bags to steep for at least 10 minutes. (More if you like more pungent flavor.)

*Fill large pitcher with ice, honey, lemon and orange juices, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Pour hot tea over the ice and ingredients, and mix with wooden spoon until ice has melted. Add alcohol now, or simply add the alcohol to the glass the mix is poured in. Strain through filter or mesh colander to remove any bits.

Serve immediately, or chill for later.
