These are not only gluten free, but taste very similar to a popular restaurant chain’s famous biscuits! These are packed with flavor, and make a great filler or side item!


Ingredients

  • 2 Cups
    OH, Forks!™ Gluten Free Baking Flour Mix
  • 1 Teaspoon
    salt
  • 1 Tablespoon
    GF Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Cup
    Crisco GF Shortening
  • 1/2 Cup
    GF Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Faux Cheddar Cheese
  • 3/4 Cups
    Almond Milk
  • 1/4 Cup
    Ghee, melted
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. (If your oven runs hot, only heat to 435 degrees.)

    Cut and mix ingredients together: flour, salt, baking powder, shortening. Then add cheese and milk; combine well.

    Drop dough onto un-greased cookie sheet, or one covered with parchment paper, by the spoonful. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until tops are golden brown, but soft.
    Brush with melted ghee and sprinkle with garlic powder. OR, melt ghee, and mix garlic powder into it before brushing on.
