OH, Forks!™ Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuffed mushrooms can be great for many a diet-type! Use faux-cheese to keep this non-dairy.


Ingredients

  • 24
    Stuffable Mushrooms, your choice of type
  • 16 Ounces
    Organic Sausage; cooked and broken up per package directions
  • 8 Ounces
    Organic Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 Cup
    Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 Ounces
    Ghee, melted
  • 2 Teaspoons
    Onion, minced
  • 1 Pinch
    salt and black pepper
  • *1 Pinches
    Paprika, *optional
  • 1/2 Teaspoon
    Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Wash or wipe your mushrooms, and de-stem them.

    Mix together the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced onion, cooked sausage, and seasonings.

    Melt the ghee, and dip the mushroom caps into it.

    Stuff the caps with the sausage and cheese mixture, and place on baking sheet. Brush tops with butter, and sprinkle with Paprika, if desired.

    Place under broiler for 5 minutes, or in oven preheated to 425 degrees for 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
