OH, Forks!™ Here Comes Summer!

Have you heard?! Summer is coming, which includes our crazy farmer’s market season!
I decided I’d better take the morning to get some important #OHFORKS work done and properly protect and secure hundreds of my recipes. It dawned on me this past weekend that I had books and notebooks full of hand-written recipes, half-recipes, half-creations and half-thoughts just strewn throughout the house. Well, after a few hours of sticking my nose to the grind, everything is backed up, saved and protected once more. (Insert sigh here.) I should probably admit that I have the same issue with half-written novels, stories, and articles for work, too. Someday I’ll get to protecting all of that, too, hopefully. Maybe? Meh. I need a cloning machine.
We are kicking off our market season in Leo, Indiana at the end of June and immediately after, Roanoke’s market begins every Saturday morning through the first weekend in September. Not to mention, we’ll be stopping by the Three Rivers Festival on July 14th at the Gypsy Soul Vintage Market to offer up a whole tent full of gluten free goods! And if all goes as it should, we’ll be dropping in to the Historic West Main Street market and more local markets and events around Fort Wayne through October. Our Fall market schedule is currently being planned, and we’ll be offering up holiday deals through the year. You can follow our market schedule on our event tab over on our Facebook page.

Here are a few questions we’ve gotten and wanted to have a posted answer for.
“How long is the turnaround for orders placed through your online bakery?”
This question has varying answers. If our kitchen is open with no large pending events or back-logs of orders, it can range from twelve hours to three days. When you place your order, we ask that you do not do so needing an item “immediately,” and allow at least 72-hours before your items are needed. IF you need something quickly, you should always contact us directly first. When you submit your order, I will go over everything and contact you with the first available time or day your order could be complete. From there, we can work together to make sure you get what you need at the earliest possible moment that works for both parties.
“Can I place an order for a specific date and time?”
Yes, orders can be placed with specific dates and times in mind AS LONG AS THEY ARE PLACED AT LEAST 72 HOURS before, with direct contact with us.
“Do you take business orders, birthday orders, or event orders?”
Yes, we sure do! We ask that all “large” orders be given at least one week before they are needed. Decorating is something I will be learning more of over the next year or so, so fancy decorating is not something that we will offer. For cakes or cupcakes, we will offer standard, un-fancified decorating which includes a frosting topping, or “naked cake” which you can then decorate yourself. Sorry for any inconvenience with this. I am working on it!
