In our house, chicken salad is a must-have at least a few times a month. While certain store brands are delicious, they also contain preservatives and unnecessary ingredients! Over the years, we’ve released a few chicken salad sandwich spread recipes, but this is more of a “stand alone” chicken salad, in that, it can be eaten as an entire meal itself! Lots of protein, veggies, and fruits make this a well rounded meal & one that avoids gluten and grain!
This recipe is very basic and simple, but gives another idea of a simple gluten free lunch idea for gluten free kiddos! This was one of our middle daughter’s favorites, and she didn’t even need to be gluten free! This wrap also makes a great “Make-Your-Own” bar for cookouts!

OH, Forks!™ offers a few styles of pasta dough in our cook books if you like the very clean, no preservatives or extras variety. Camper’s Delight (or Camper’s Stew, Stone Soup, etc) is a simple recipe that spans the decades. We’ve altered it a bit to match with our dietary needs, and cut out the red meat completely. This is one your kid’s will love, if they have a love of fire starting, camping, and outdoor activities.
