With growth in any business, comes changes and advancements to make things easier for the customer and the business itself. At Oh, Forks!, we have been working towards lots of progression and changes! One of them being our new store front through Square, who we have used for over a decade with our payment systems. We love Square, and feel that their online platform and simplicity are perfect for what we are going for.

We have gotten many questions about how it works and what the process is, we decided to cover it in a blog with screenshots! YAY! Our store can indeed be accessed on tablets and cell phones! Anywhere your internet browser allows!

Step 1: To begin, you’ll want to visit the store at this address: (You can either click on the link in the words, or copy and paste the web address below in to your browser.)

Step 2: Peruse the items listed. Find something you like? Click it, and more ordering options (if there are any available) will pop up, and allow you to select what you would like in regard to flavor, quantity, and more.

On each item description listing, you will see that some items can be shipped, picked up, or delivered. Certain items may not be able to be shipped quite yet, as they are freshly baked items. Items that cannot be shipped will not allow this as an option; helping to keep things cut and dry. You’ll have the option to select which method you’re choosing on the payment screen, by the way.  Shipping is currently a flat fee coinciding with the USPS Flat Rate services, but that may change on certain items at any moment. Pay attention to the item details!

 

 

Step 3: After adding items to your cart, and selecting if you’ll be picking up or shipping, you will now enter your billing information. If you selected shipping, your total will automatically adjust for that. If you are picking up or scheduling a future delivery, you will be able to make notes in the order on the last page with any details, info, or anything else you might need to add.

Step 4: Order confirmation. You will get an initial confirmation stating that your order has been sent to me. After I receive it and contact you if necessary to discuss the order, get any needed details and time frames, I will process the order which then charges your method of payment. You will get a confirmation of that happening, and once again when I complete the order. The process is very thorough on both my end and yours as the customer!
